Creating and Managing Custom Tags

- Open any contact's profile and navigate to the Tags section.
- Click the Manage Tags button, typically located in the top right corner of the section.
- If the contact has no tags yet, you can also click the "Create your first tag" link.
- The Tag Manager window will open, allowing you to:
- Create new tags
- Assign or change tag colors
- Rename existing tags across your entire workspace
Filtering Your Contact List by Tags
Once your contacts are tagged, use these tags to sort and segment your database.
- Go to your main Contacts dashboard.
- Locate the Filter or Tags dropdown menu, usually found near the top search bar.
- Select one or more tags from the list.
- Your contact list will instantly update to show only contacts associated with the selected tags.
This allows for easy targeted communication, such as sending segmented email campaigns or exporting specific groups of contacts.
💡 Automation Tip: Tags can trigger automated actions. For example, you can set up an automation to send a follow-up email whenever a contact is tagged as "New Lead".
