How to View Views, Clicks, and Engagement on Your Digital Card

Sharing your Banana digital card is just the first step in successful networking. To understand how effectively your profile performs, you must track how people interact with your link. Analyzing views, clicks, and engagement allows you to see which contact methods, social links, or portfolio items capture the most attention.

Follow this guide to access and interpret the engagement metrics for your digital card within the Banana platform.

Step 1: Navigate to the Cards Dashboard

Log into your Banana account and locate the main navigation menu. Click on the Cards tab to access the central hub for all the digital profiles and networking assets you have created.

Step 2: Open Card Analytics

Locate the digital card you want to evaluate from your list of active cards. Click the Analytics button (represented by a bar chart or graph icon) found on the card preview or within its settings menu.

Step 3: Set Your Date Range

To ensure your data is relevant, select a specific timeframe using the Date Filter at the top of the analytics dashboard. You can choose from presets like "Last 7 Days" or "This Month," or define a "Custom Range" to align with a specific networking event.

Step 4: Analyze Your Engagement Data

Scroll through your dashboard to review the following performance metrics:

Views (Total & Unique)

  • Total Views: Shows the overall traffic your card has received.
  • Unique Visitors: Shows the number of distinct individuals who have accessed your card.

Link Clicks

Check the Interactions or Clicks section for a detailed breakdown of every clickable element on your card, such as your email, LinkedIn profile, or resume download.

Engagement Rate (CTR)

Banana calculates your engagement rate by comparing total clicks to total views. This percentage helps you understand how actively your audience is interacting with your content versus simply glancing at the page.

Pro Tip: Optimize Your Layout

Use your link click data to refine your profile. If your "Book a Meeting" link receives high traffic but is located at the bottom of your card, consider moving it to the top to increase visibility and improve your conversion rate.
