Use Case: Chain Automations Together

Build bigger workflows by linking automations.

How it works

  • The action Run Another Automation starts a second automation.
  • That automation uses the trigger When another automation triggers this one.

Example: new lead onboarding

  1. Automation A: When a new contact is created → Add Tag "lead" → Run Another Automation (B)
  2. Automation B: When another automation triggers this one → Create Pipeline Card in "New lead" → Create Task "Call within 24 hours"

Tips

  • Give each automation a clear name, so the chain is easy to follow.
  • Keep chains short. Two or three steps are easy to understand and fix.
  • Check the run history in Automations if something doesn't happen.
