Use Case: Tag Every New Contact Automatically

Mark everyone new so you can review them later.

Set it up

1. Open Automations.
2. Choose the template Auto-tag New Contacts.
3. Trigger: When a new contact is created
4. Action: Add Tag to Contact, for example "new".
5. Save and turn it on.

The result

Filter your contacts by the "new" tag to see who came in. Remove the tag once you have reviewed the contact.

Combine it

Because this adds a tag, it can also start other automations that use the When a tag is added to a contact trigger, like a follow-up task.
