Create Your First Digital Business Card
Learning how to create your first digital business card is the essential first step to modernizing your networking. Your virtual card acts as a centralized, interactive hub for all your contact information, social links, and business actions.
This guide walks you through launching your first virtual business card in just a few minutes, using either pre-designed templates or the AI Card Builder.
Step 1: Start the Creation Process
- Navigate to the Business Cards section from your main navigation menu.
- If this is your first time, click the Create your first virtual card button on the welcome screen.
- In the "Add a New Card" window, scroll past the physical NFC options to the Virtual Card section.
- Click the Create a Virtual Card button.
Step 2: Choose Your Setup Method
The platform generates a new Card ID and takes you to the setup screen. You have two ways to design your card:
Method A: The AI Builder (Recommended)
The AI Builder asks a few questions and automatically designs a card tailored to your profession.
- Ensure the AI Builder tab is selected at the top.
- Click the Design your profile now button (sparkle icon).
- Fill out the quick AI questionnaire with your name, job title, and company. The AI instantly crafts your layout, color scheme, and professional copy.
Method B: Start from a Template
Browse dozens of professional designs if you prefer to pick your own layout.
- Select the Templates tab at the top.
- Browse through industry categories (e.g., Creative & Arts, Business & Finance, Professional Services).
- Hover over a design, click Preview to see a mobile preview.
- Click Use this template. The platform applies the layout and auto-fills basic profile information.
💡 Copying an Existing Card: If your workspace has other cards, search for an existing card to clone its design instantly.
Step 3: Enter the Editor
After selecting your AI output or template, the platform redirects you to the Card Editor.
Your card is currently a "Draft." From the editor, you can:
- Upload your headshot
- Add custom buttons
- Link your social media
- Hit Publish to make your card live
