Styling Your Digital Business Card
Follow these steps to access and modify your card's appearance settings.
Step 1: Access Appearance Settings
- Navigate to the Card Editor.
- Locate and open the Card Appearance modal. This is where you'll find all global design controls.
Step 2: Adjust Structural Layout
The layout determines the placement of your profile picture, cover image, and main content.
- In the appearance window, find the Layout section at the top.
- Browse through the visual previews of different structural designs. Options include cards with full cover images, faded backgrounds, or compact avatars.
- Click on a layout thumbnail to apply it instantly. A checkmark will indicate your active selection.
Step 3: Select Button Style
Choose the shape for all interactive elements like social links and action buttons (e.g., "Save Contact," "Email").
- Scroll down to the Button Style section.
- Select from three distinct shapes:
- Circular: Fully rounded, pill-shaped buttons.
- Rounded: Buttons with softly rounded corners.
- Square: Buttons with sharp corners.
- Click your preferred shape to update the buttons on your card immediately.
Step 4: Choose Colors and Theme
Apply a professional look using pre-designed themes or create a custom color palette.
- Scroll down to the Card Colors section.
Option A: Use a Pre-designed Theme
For a quick, cohesive design, select a professionally curated theme.
- Choose from themes like "Sharp & Professional," "Energetic & Friendly," or the dark-mode "Executive" theme.
- Clicking a theme automatically applies matching background, text, and button colors.
Option B: Set Custom Brand Colors
Manually define your color scheme to perfectly match your company branding.
- Select the "Your brand, your colours" option at the top of the theme list.
- An advanced Custom Editor with a live preview will appear.
- Adjust the following four color controls:
- Background: Sets the card's background color.
- Text: Determines the color of your main text.
- Button Background: Controls the color of button backgrounds.
- Button Text: Sets the color for text on buttons.
- For each control, you can either select a preset swatch or click the gradient wheel to open a color picker and enter a specific HEX code.
Step 5: Save Your Design
Once satisfied with your customizations:
- Click the primary Done button, located in the bottom right corner of the window.
- This saves all your appearance settings, including layout, button style, and colors.
