How Banana Protects Your Data
Your data stays in your workspace
Everything you create belongs to a workspace. Only members of that workspace can see it, and these rules are enforced by the database itself, not only by the app screens.
In team workspaces:
- Owners and admins choose which pages each member can open.
- Only the owner can manage billing.
- Invites are locked to the email and role chosen by the person who sent them.
Secure sign-in
Sign in with email and password, or with Google. Password reset links are sent only to your email.
Payments
Card payments are processed by a certified payment provider. Banana never stores your full card number; we only show the last four digits.
Connected services
Google Calendar, Gmail and other integrations only use the access their feature needs. Disconnect them any time in Integrations.
Identity verification
Some features, such as publishing events with payouts, require verification in Settings > Verification (KYC / KYB). Documents are reviewed only for verification.
What you can do
- Use a strong password or Google sign-in.
- Remove teammates who no longer need access.
- Review member page access regularly.
