How to Use the AI Card Builder to Generate Your Profile Instantly
Creating a comprehensive, professional digital business card from scratch can be time-consuming. With the AI Card Builder, our platform does the heavy lifting for you. By providing a few simple details—and letting our AI research your website—you can generate a beautifully designed, fully written smart business card in under a minute.
Step 1: Launch the AI Builder
To get started, log into your dashboard and navigate to your digital business card editor.
- Locate the Sparkle icon in the card editor menu.
- Click AI Card Builder to launch the setup wizard.
Step 2: The Basics & AI Research
The first screen asks for your core identity: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, and Location.
The Magic Step (Website)
At the bottom of this screen, you will see a field for your Website. Entering your website URL is strongly recommended. When you proceed, our AI will instantly visit your website in the background, scan the web for your brand, and automatically draft suggestions to prefill the rest of your card.
Step 3: Choose Your Appearance
While the AI researches your brand, you can customize the visual style of your card:
- Layout: Select from six unique visual layouts (such as "Profile Picture and Cover" or "Fade Background").
- Button Style: Choose whether you want your action buttons to be Circular, Rounded, or Square.
- Card Colors: Pick a pre-designed color template (e.g., "Sharp & Professional" or "Dark mode, Cool"), or select Custom Colors to manually set your Background, Text, and Button hex codes.
Step 4: Review Your Business & Vibe
If you entered a website in Step 2, the AI will have automatically filled in the following screens. You can review and edit these suggestions:
- Your Role: Verify your Company Name, Job Title, and Industry.
- Business Details: Check the paragraphs generated for "What your business does" and "Products/Services."
- Socials & Style: Add your social media handles and define the Tone/Style you want the card written in (e.g., "Bold and modern," "Elegant minimal," or "Playful").
Step 5: Generate and Preview
Click the Generate button (marked with a magic wand). The AI will take 15–40 seconds to study your brand, write your bio, select imagery from Unsplash, and compose your sections. A live preview of your generated card will then appear on the screen.
Step 6: Refine or Apply
Once the preview is ready, you have two options:
Use the Design
If the generated card is ready for networking, click Use this design to apply it to your live profile instantly.
Refine with AI
If the card isn't quite right, use the refinement text box next to the preview. Type specific instructions, such as:
- "Use a darker palette."
- "Write a shorter bio."
- "Add a testimonials section."
Click Re-generate with AI, and the builder will instantly update the design based on your feedback.
