How to Set a Custom Card Link

Every card has a default link. You can replace it with a short, memorable one, for example app.banana.cards/link/your-name.

Set your custom link

1. Open Cards.
2. Open the card's menu and select Card settings.
3. Under Custom link, type the ending you want.
4. Banana checks it right away. It shows This URL is available or This URL is already taken.
5. Select Save.

Rules

• At least 3 characters
• Letters, numbers and dashes only
• It cannot start or end with a dash

Leave the field empty to go back to the default link.

Card name

In the same window you can set the Card name, for example "Sales — John D." Only your team sees it. It helps you tell cards apart.

Tip

If you change the link after sharing it, the old custom link stops working. Update your QR codes and email signature. Your NFC card keeps working because it uses the card ID.
