How to Import Contacts from Google Contacts into Banana

Managing your professional relationships is much easier when all your contacts are centralized in one place. If you have been using Google to manage your network, manual data entry can be time-consuming. Fortunately, Banana allows you to seamlessly import your Google Contacts directly into the platform in just a few clicks.

This guide will walk you through the steps to connect your Google account, select your contacts, and import them into your Banana database securely.

Step 1: Navigate to the Banana Contacts Dashboard

1. Log into your Banana account.
2. Navigate to the Contacts tab from the main navigation sidebar.
3. This page is your central hub for managing leads, clients, and network connections.

Step 2: Open the Import Menu

1. In the top section of the Contacts dashboard, click the Import Contacts button.
2. A modal window will appear, presenting various methods to import your data.

Step 3: Select Google Contacts

1. Choose the Google Contacts option from the list.
2. Authentication: If you haven't integrated your Google account yet, you will be prompted to authenticate. Follow the secure Google sign-in prompts and grant permission to "view your contacts" to proceed.

Step 4: Search and Select Your Contacts

Once your account is linked, the Google Contacts Import window will display your directory:

• Search: Use the search bar (magnifying glass icon) at the top to filter for specific individuals by name or email.
• Select: Manually check the boxes next to the contacts you wish to import. Alternatively, use the bulk-select checkbox to import your entire address book at once.

Step 5: Finalize the Import

1. Click the Import (or Continue) button at the bottom of the window.
2. Banana will process your request in the background.
3. Once complete, you will see a confirmation message. Your contacts, including synced names, emails, and profile details, will immediately appear in your Banana Contacts list.
