How to Find Your Workspace API Key for Zapier

To connect your account to Zapier, you must authenticate your workspace using a unique API Key. Think of this key as a secure, invisible password that allows Zapier to communicate with your CRM and automatically sync your new leads with over 6,000 different applications.

Follow this step-by-step guide to generate and copy your API key successfully.

Step 1: Access Your Integrations Dashboard

  1. Log into your main dashboard.
  2. In the left-hand navigation menu, click on Integrations (represented by the connected plugs icon).\n

Step 2: Open the Zapier Settings

  1. Locate the Zapier card in your list of available integrations.
  2. Click the Connect Zapier button.
  3. A configuration modal will open on your screen.

Step 3: Generate and Copy Your Key

  1. Inside the Zapier modal, look for the section labeled API Key or Authentication.
  2. If this is your first time connecting, click Generate New Key.
  3. Your secure, alphanumeric API key will appear.
  4. Click the Copy icon next to the key to save it to your clipboard.

Note: For security reasons, this key may only be fully visible once. Ensure you are ready to paste it immediately into Zapier.

Step 4: Paste into Zapier

  1. Open a new browser tab and navigate to Zapier.com.
  2. Start creating a new Zap.
  3. When you select our platform as your Trigger or Action app, Zapier will prompt you to "Sign in" or "Connect an Account."
  4. A secure Zapier pop-up window will appear asking for your API Key.
  5. Paste the key you copied in Step 3 and click Continue.

Your workspace is now securely linked to Zapier, and you are ready to start building automations!

Security Best Practices

  • Keep it Private: Never share your API key publicly, post it in screenshots, or send it via email.
  • Revoking Access: If you believe your key has been compromised, return to the Integrations dashboard to Revoke the old key. You can then instantly generate a fresh one to restore your connection safely.
