What Is a Pipeline?

A pipeline is a board for anything that moves through stages: leads, deals, projects, candidates or orders.

How it works

  • A pipeline has steps (stages), shown as columns, for example "New lead", "Demo booked", "Proposal sent" and "Won".
  • Each item is a card that sits in one step.
  • You drag cards across steps as they progress.
  • Every card can have an owner, a linked contact and, for sales pipelines, a revenue value.

Sales pipelines

Turn on Is this a sales pipeline? in the pipeline settings to add Revenue and Recurring / mo fields to cards. The board then shows Total revenue for each step.

Plan limits

The Lite plan includes 1 pipeline. Pro AI and Teams include unlimited pipelines.

Where to find it

Open Pipelines from the menu. Use Select pipeline at the top to switch between boards.
