FAQ

Questions, answered.

What fields does AI enrichment actually fill in?

From an email or LinkedIn URL alone, enrichment can surface: full name, job title, seniority, company name, company domain, company size and industry, location (city/country), profile photo, public social handles (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram), and inferred timezone. Each field arrives with a confidence score so you can decide what to trust.

Where does the enrichment data come from?

A blend of publicly-available web data, partner data APIs and your own inbox/calendar signals (when connected). Banana never pulls from other customers' private CRMs — enrichment is one-way into your workspace, never out.

Is enrichment GDPR and CCPA compliant?

Yes — every enriched field carries its source/provenance, individuals can request deletion (and Banana propagates the deletion to the underlying sources where possible), and you can disable enrichment per region for visitors in specific countries to match your privacy posture.

How accurate is the enrichment?

Each field carries a 0–100 confidence score. High-confidence values (>85) auto-populate; mid-confidence (60–85) populate with a 'review' flag; low-confidence is hidden by default. Overall, expect ~90%+ accuracy on company name and title for B2B contacts in major markets, lower for SMBs and consumer contacts.

Can I re-enrich my existing contacts in bulk?

Yes — select any segment (tag, filter, all) and trigger a bulk enrichment job. You can also schedule recurring re-enrichment (e.g. monthly) so titles and company changes get picked up automatically.

Will enrichment run on every new contact automatically?

Yes if you enable it — every new contact captured (from a card tap, Lead Exchange, manual entry, import) goes through enrichment within seconds, so the contact record is rich by the time you open it.

Never again paste into a CRM.

Capture once, Banana fills the rest — and keeps it fresh.
