How do Banana NFC business cards actually work?
Every Banana card has an NFC chip inside. Hold the card to the back of any modern smartphone and a notification pops up — the recipient taps it and your profile opens in their default browser. No app, no Bluetooth, no pairing, no friction. The whole exchange takes about two seconds.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. NFC reading is built into every iPhone from the XS onwards (iOS 14+) and into nearly every Android phone from the last decade. On modern iPhones it works without opening any app — just tap the top of the phone to the card.
Can I reprogram the card to point somewhere else?
Yes — your NFC card is linked to your Banana profile, so updating your profile updates every tap. You can also swap which of your cards is 'active' on an NFC, or temporarily point an NFC at a custom URL (a campaign landing page, an event RSVP, etc.) without reprinting.
What materials are Banana NFC cards made from?
Premium metal, brushed metal, 24kt gold, bamboo, black PVC and white PVC — pick the finish that matches your brand. Designs are full-color, edge-to-edge, with optional QR engraving so the card works even on phones with NFC disabled.
Do you ship internationally?
