FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Scout and how does it actually find leads?

Scout is an AI prospecting engine: you describe your ideal customer in plain English (e.g. 'plumbers in Brooklyn without a website and fewer than 30 Google reviews') and Scout interprets the intent, queries Google Places for matching businesses in the location you picked, and returns a ranked list with name, website, phone, address, hours, review count and rating — all in seconds.

What kind of searches work best?

Anything you'd brief a junior SDR with: 'dentists in Austin with under 20 Google reviews', 'coffee shops in Brooklyn without an Instagram', 'real estate agents in Miami with outdated websites', 'boutique hotels in Nashville not on TripAdvisor', 'law firms in Boston with websites older than 5 years'. Scout extracts the location, business type and qualifying criteria automatically.

What contact info do I get for each lead?

Where Google Places has it: business name, phone, website, full address, opening hours, category, rating, review count, photos and map location. Scout also infers email patterns and surfaces public social profiles when available so you can reach out across channels.

Can I push leads into my CRM, pipeline or a campaign?

Yes — select any leads from a Scout run and one-click create them as Banana contacts (with full source attribution back to the Scout query), drop them into a pipeline as new deals, tag them for a specific campaign, or assign them to a teammate to work.

Does Scout work outside the US?

Yes — Scout uses Google Places worldwide. Search in any country and language Google supports; Scout will return local results with localized business names and addresses.

Is this legal and compliant?

Scout returns publicly-available business information from Google Places — the same data anyone can see on Google Maps. You're responsible for following local outreach laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, etc.) when you contact the businesses; Banana provides the prospect data, not the consent.

Stop hunting. Start meeting.

Scout brings you the prospects — you bring the conversation.
